Silver Circle Club

Welcome to our club!

A space for friendship, learning, and travel for the 60+ community in the USA

Silver Circle Club

Here, every senior is cherished, engaged, and uplifted. We create a welcoming space to share joy, discover new passions, and stand by one another.

About the project

In 2024, in the state of Maryland, we conducted an initiative to conduct sociological surveys of residents over 60 years old. The survey took into account the interests of the population and the degree of integration. Based on the results of the surveys, we decided to create a club for people aged 60+, regardless of nationality and religion.

What do our club members have in common:

Shared Values and Atmosphere

  • Respect and friendliness—everyone feels accepted and valued.
  • Desire to be active and helpful—a desire to share experiences and participate in club life.
  • Openness to new experiences—an interest in learning, technology, travel, and creativity.

Common Goals and Interests

  • Health and Well-Being—sharing knowledge, support in health, activity, and nutrition.
  • Education and Development—participation in workshops, lectures, and interest clubs.
  • Creativity and Self-Expression—photography, video, music, handicrafts, writing.
  • Travel and Discovery—joint trips, excursions, and cultural events.

Forms of Support and Interaction

  • Emotional Support—an opportunity to talk, share, and receive advice.
  • Mutual Aid—help with everyday life, technology, and adapting to new conditions.
  • Joint Projects—participation in club initiatives, volunteering, and training others.

Our goals

Many immigrant families include members who arrived in the United States at an advanced age. They have either partially integrated into life in their new country or have not integrated at all. To live a full and dignified life in old age, they require support in various areas, whether it’s caregiving or leisure activities. It’s important to consider their cultural background and mentality.

Our goal is to offer seniors a variety of leisure options, consultations on social and legal issues, language and integration courses, and much more.

Our project for senior immigrants aims to help them feel less lonely, to actively participate in community life, and to feel supported and cared for. This is how we maintain connections between different generations and bring families together.

Silver Circle Club Projects and Programs

Projects and programs are divided into three areas:

Education

Education in old age has many benefits, including improved cognitive function, maintaining social engagement, and enhancing quality of life. We offer a variety of educational formats for seniors, from computer literacy courses to English language learning.

Organizing leisure activities

The Silver Circle Club offers a variety of activities tailored to individual interests and abilities. These include outdoor walks, creative activities, board games, cultural events, and socializing with peers.

Care Assistance

Assistance options include: nursing services, home care, and social services. We go beyond traditional personal care — adapting to the unique needs of each individual. All services can be fully personalized based on specific requirements.
