1. General Provisions<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>

1.1. Silver Circle (hereinafter referred to as the Club) is a voluntary association of senior citizens created to organize leisure activities, socialize, engage in hobbies, and provide social support to senior citizens. The Club has a specific theme (Handicrafts, Health, Chinese Gymnastics, Nordic Walking, etc.).<\/span><\/p>

1.2. The Club operates on the principles of voluntariness, equality, self-government, and transparency.<\/span><\/p>

1.3. The Club operates in accordance with US law, these Charter, and the decisions of the General Meeting of Club members.<\/span><\/p>

1.4. The Club is not a legal entity.<\/span><\/p>

1.5. The Club is organized by GFC Services LLC.<\/span><\/p>

1.6. The Club’s legal address (location): 9711 Washingtonian Blvd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878.<\/span><\/p>

2. Club Goals and Objectives<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>

2.1. The Club’s goals are:<\/span><\/p>

2.1.1. Promoting psychological adaptation to old age:<\/span>
helping people adapt to a new social status and overcome associated experiences.<\/span><\/p>

2.1.2. Organizing leisure and entertainment:<\/span>
hosting various events, such as concerts, theater visits, excursions, physical education classes, and others.<\/span><\/p>

2.1.3. Communication and social support:<\/span>
creating an environment for communication, mutual support, and overcoming loneliness.<\/span><\/p>

2.1.4. Disease prevention and health maintenance:<\/span>
physical education, yoga, dance, and other activities aimed at improving health.<\/span><\/p>

2.1.5. Developing Creative Skills:<\/span>
Organizing classes in handicrafts, painting, music, and other creative activities.<\/span><\/p>

2.1.6. Informal Education and Skills Development:<\/span>
Conducting courses on new technologies, legal knowledge, and other useful skills.<\/span><\/p>

2.1.7. Tourism:<\/span>
Organizing excursions and trips, visiting local attractions.<\/span><\/p>

2.2. The Club’s goals are:<\/span><\/p>

  • Organizing and holding cultural events (recreation evenings, concerts, excursions, meetings with interesting people, etc.).<\/span><\/li>
  • Organizing interest-based activities (clubs, sections, master classes).<\/span><\/li>
  • Organizing sports events and classes.<\/span><\/li>
  • Conducting lectures and seminars on current issues.<\/span><\/li>
  • Organizing exhibitions and fairs of participants’ work.<\/span><\/li>
  • Providing informational and advisory assistance to participants.<\/span><\/li>
  • Promoting the participation of Club members in public life.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    3. Club Membership<\/span><\/h4>

    3.1. Club membership is open to senior citizens (women over 55 and men over 60) who recognize the Club’s goals and objectives and wish to actively participate in its activities.<\/span><\/p>

    3.2. Admission to the Club is based on a written application, payment of membership dues, and a decision by the Club’s Coordinating Council.<\/span><\/p>

    3.3. Club members have the right to:<\/span><\/p>

    • Participate in General Meetings of the Club with the right to vote.<\/span><\/li>
    • Elect and be elected to the Club’s Coordinating Council.<\/span><\/li>
    • Submit suggestions for improving the Club’s activities.<\/span><\/li>
    • Take advantage of the services and events organized by the Club.<\/span><\/li>
    • Resign from the Club at their own request.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      3.4. Club members are obligated to:<\/span><\/p>

      Adhere to these Charter, actively participate in Club activities, pay membership dues on time, and respect other Club members.<\/span><\/p>

      4. Club Governing Bodies<\/span><\/h4>

      4.1. The Club’s highest governing body is the General Meeting of Club Members.<\/span><\/p>

      4.2. The General Meeting is held at least once a year.<\/span><\/p>

      4.3. The General Meeting of Shareholders has the following powers:<\/span><\/p>

      • Approval of the Club Charter and amendments thereto<\/span><\/li>
      • Election of the Club’s Coordinating Council<\/span><\/li>
      • Determining the Club’s main activities<\/span><\/li>
      • Approval of the Coordinating Council’s reports<\/span><\/li>
      • Decisions on the termination of the Club’s activities.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        4.4. The General Meeting is considered legally competent if more than half of the Club’s members are present. Decisions are made by a simple majority of the votes of the Club members present.<\/span><\/p>

        4.5. The Club’s Coordinating Council is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Club’s activities.<\/span><\/p>
